I was tweaking my tune a little this evening and wasn't keeping an eye on my laptop battery and it died part way through a flash (I should've had my car charger connected). Would this cause my ecu to brick?

I don't get any fuel pump when I turn the ignition on now and car won't start.

I'm desperate for help on this one.

Unfortunately yes. There might be ways to unbrick. What car is this?

I've had such situation once. You should NOT turn the car key off! Leave the car, put a charger or charge the laptop and try to flash it again. On my car it continued from where it died and everything was fine. If you turn off the key .. the ecu is 99% bricked.

I suspect that you'll need to talk with Tactrix about how to recover from this. Worst case, you might need to send the ECU to them to get unbricked. Best case, they might have an easier way... but I really have no idea.

If you charge the car battery, and charge the laptop battery, and try again, what does EcuFlash say?

Depending on the car if might be easier/cheaper to go with a second hand ecu. Especially if no immo.
