Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the map 2002 WRX STG2 93 octane rev3_LC.
Just flashed it an hour ago and Wow absolutely amazing :D .

I added a log if anyone wants to check it out. not sure if i included the right things to see in the log. Anyway love the map, launch control sounds awesome.

My mods:

-Catless up pipe
-Aftermarket catless downpipe
-3'' full exhaust
-short ram Air intake( im going to put it back to stock air filter eventually)

Also i'd be willing to pay someone if they're willing to tweak the map to better suit my car and maybe add more power :)

Hey is there any way to adjust launch control? 5500 is a bit too high for me. I have tried adding tinywrx's patches to other maps but have had no luck. I am using this as my map with a few tweaks, but I would like to know if launch control can be adjusted, and what would be the best method to do it.

Cheers

Yep.. If you add in the definitions for the patch into ECUFlash, you'll be able to change it from there

I was about to use the Rev3_Lc.hex map but when I compared it with Rev3.hex, it says "Images are equal" - can someone confirm? If they are the same, where I can find settings for launch control - in "Rev Limit (Fuel Cut)" section?

Greetings community,
I spent some time to overlay 99% of the maps over an EDM 2001 Forester S Turbo 177hp ECU.
The engine is actually very similar to the WRX 01-02 one, but the turbo and camshafts.
Should I be worried about something initially?
Mods:
UP decated
Down - bellmouth Speedy daddy
EGT resistor fix
Rear end silencer - Audi RS4 with throttle valve
Everything else is stock
Logs are comming soon.

Here are the log + learning view table. Surely the TF35 cannot cope with target boost (TD04 19T is planned for the future).
Tonight will try to run same log on LPG (more than 100 as an octane rating)

Isn't it knocking a lot and the afr is also very lean? I would be very concerned if I see such log on my car tho

Well actually higher AFR means richer in our case - it is the standard (stock O2 sensor), therefore Logger reads it "upside down".
I think it is not knocking too much because the knock correction advance is higher than 4-5 (not zero). Nevertheless I am far away from experienced tactrix mapper.
Please help with the logs

I didn't look at the logs, but a few comments regarding the learning view pic.
You are quite lean on 1st and 3rd quarter of af range, possibly your maf scale is off under boost too.
You have IAM of 11 which is not great - you have some slight learned knock at 5000-5600rpm@1.5-1.69load, the rest of the table seems to be fine, as it has learned advance, but knock past 5000rpm on higher load keeps the iam back. Look at your log plots and reduce the timing where necessary, a mighty fine tool is vgi's maf scaling tool, you can use log stats tab there to plot the knock values on your timing table axes.

You might want to look at datazap.me service (it's free) to present an easy to interpret and nicely plotted log file to us, it also allows the download of said file if anyone wants to.

Thank you for your input! Respect!
Actually MAF scaling hasn't been changed. Additionally stock scaling is absolutely the same as the one in Base map from OP. NO relocation, CAI, or even snorkel removal has been done - air induction is 100% stock.
IC, Y pipe, both together, vacuum pipes, BOV etc have been tested for leaks and there is none (tested to 1.5BAR). Oil vapour track shows some fatigue (partially burned hoses which feels like PP pipes at their ends). However there are no oil leaks/spots/areas which could suggest for problem in this part of the engine.
Regards

These comments were for the first LV pic when run on petrol.
You will *probably* never get the car perform on lpg the same as on petrol. It will always be off somewhere, unless you can calibrate the piggyback lpg unit down to the last bit and adding another layer of calibration on top makes tuning a nightmare anyway. You also have to account for it's limitations - such as lpg injector size and gas delivery capacity.
