Evening all.

I'm curious whether it's possible to rewire, using a jumper set of leads, to communicate with the stock ecu for Romraider tuning, a Motec UTC can reader/writer.

I'm only early days researching the possibility, but figured I would ask some of the genius' within this forum also.

Now ideally I would like to sell or trade the UTC and get a tactrix reader but thought I'd humour this idea first being I have a UTC spare from my Motec m800 gc8 days.

I'm wondering if the tactrix simply communicates via the 4 main pins earth, 12v, can high and can low. Or it gathers signal info from other pins on the obd2 port. The Motec UTC uses albeit 8v instead of 12. If it's the case I could get lucky and use the UTC for read/writing.

If anyone can assist with my inquiry that would be great. Or alternatively interested in he UTC whether it trade or for sale. Let me know. Kind of keen to gain access to the ecu to firstly turn off the cel for the lack of secondary pump after I deleted it when I did the engine rebuild recently. But furthermore allow me access to play with the tune for exhaust and intake mods.

Many thanks for reading!

Cheers, Chris.
