Does anybody know if such a thing exists ?

It's getting tiring migrating a s*** tonne of tables over to test builds only to find I've made small coding mistakes... it takes longer to manually copy paste the tables than it does to fix the code!

Currently working on selectable MAP load reference for timing, fuel, avcs :D

This would be amazing for sure. Could always hire out copy paste work till the program is fully developed ;)

I have been looking for that also. Andea knows very well this pain :).

Ecuedit has a feature to copy the whole table with axis values and paste it in a new map (ctrl+w). But still converting the definition to ecuedit is pain most of the time it does not work correctly. I think it should be added in ECU flash.

I wonder if you can work around this by changing your process for testing?

It sounds like you're doing something like:

1) get a stock ROM
2) coding and unit testing
3) patch the stock ROM
4) apply changes for the car it will be tested in
5) flash it and really test it
6) go back to step 2

Can you instead do this:

1) Get a stock ROM
2) apply changes for the car it will be tested in
3) coding and unit testing
4) patch the tuned ROM
5) flash it and really test it
6) go back to step 3

Thanks Correct, but still you need to Copy and paste all the Per gear boost target / Initial WGDC / MAX WGDC / Timing / Fuel and other small setting for each map again :)

this is what i do plus Step 4a) copy all merpmod tables over <- this bit takes a long time, as i'm using practically everything merpmod can do.

What I was doing for testing was converting my latest tables to the data format used in HEW. Its a little more tedious than copying but it only needs to be done once. IIRC I was using a couple excel formulas for that.

How much work do you think is involved in adapting sharptune to be able to batch copy tables between two ROMs ?

It seems much of the framework required exists already in Sharptune... ?

I see the issue now. I avoid it the way way Merp did, putting the values that I want directly into the patch. But I can see how that doesn't work so well if you're testing on more than one car.
