Attached is a test version of RR Logger which allows the user to set the Throttle threshold for WOT condition detection (no fiddling with the logger parameter formula).

This is a standalone installation which you can unzip and use without changes to your official release version if you have it installed.
Just copy your <user_home>\.RomRaider\settings.xml file (if you have one) into the unzipped location \RomRaider folder.

Start the standalone version from a DOS CMD prompt using run.bat (or double click it) in the unzipped location \RomRaider folder.

When you open the Dyno tab you will need to set the Threshold and the units for the threshold.

Adjust the other values as needed.

PS: if you wish to translate the labels, buttons and tool tips the file 'RomRaider\i18n\com\romraider\logger\ecu\ui\tab\dyno\DynoControlPanel.properties' can be text edited into your chosen language.

That means it did not find P13 in the list of parameters. Did you connect to the DME first?

I will need a TRACE level log of the rr_system.log file while setting up and operating the Dyno feature.

I'll not be able to give this info in the next two weeks. Car is getting some refreshment in the brakes and rear subframe.
Be sure I'll post it when its in rolling conditions.

Car has been out of the game for a while, it wasn't running until mid april, then took it on the track and broke sth in the front suspension that made some more damage around.
As I was only there on weekends and that I bought a new project car, I haven't made a pull on that m52 since before my last message. I have still it on back on my head, and time should come.

Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the update! Do not be sorry for anything, life happens, cars break down, new projects pop up, etc etc.

Hey,

So long overdue but its on a good road again. Remade a map for 98 octane as I moved and there isn't any e85 here, and now the car can make some pulls.

So overall, the dyno from the executable file is working, detection by % threshold is on point, but I'm getting funny numbers

Here is first an example of a pull made live on the dyno:
Image

Don't mind the curvy shape at the end its only due to me clutching in on top. The power shows 600+ hp, hell its not
please find attached the system log, only in info mode sadly I went out before knowing what Trace level was.
but given that I used both exec and installed version I have no clue if the info inside this systemlog is from what.
I will be able to do other test related to that If needed.

Now an example of the "offline" dyno where I load a pull from a file. You can see side to side the two version opening the same file
Image

Not even the shape is the same somehow.
On the executable one, even if I change the selected gear, it keeps showing 540hp, so it might be locked in 5th gear virtually (as the regular version gives me 527hp for the same file in 5th gear).

Cheers

I know this is a very old post but i was wondering if someone could help me or talk me through how to install this version on romraider logger?

Im looking to do some live road dynos and only have the ability to create the graphs from saved logs.

I have downloaded the file just not sure where to go from there?
